Modern Wooden Bench With Sculptural Curved Backrest For Reading Nook

Solid wood, bent into loops. The Modern Wooden Bench With Sculptural Curved Backrest For Reading Nook is seating with a sculptor's outline. A simple upholstered cushion softens the seat.

Shape

Rounded loop supports close each end. A sweeping back rises from the frame in an asymmetric arch. Wide open spaces under the seat keep a substantial form feeling light. The cushion stays quiet so the wood can lead. Sit back, and the curve of the back meets you halfway.

Material

The frame is made of solid wood blocks joined together. The finish preserves the timber's natural look. Grain and texture remain visible. It ships in sections and is assembled after delivery.

• Curved, arching backrest
• Loop-style supports at both ends
• Upholstered seat cushion
• Custom sizing available

Setting

A reading nook first, with a lamp and a stack of novels close by. Also a living room, a bedroom corner, an entry or a hallway. It suits contemporary and organic modern homes alike.

Each bench is handcrafted to order. Natural wood varies in grain, texture and color. Your piece will differ slightly from the images, and from every other bench made.
