Mid Century Curved Console Table For Entryway Space

Run a hand along the supports and there are no mitred corners, only a smooth, continuous curve with the grain following it around. The Mid Century Curved Console Table For Entryway Space spends its effort where you can see it. Shaping a curve takes far longer than cutting a square.

The Curve

The supports are shaped and sanded into their arcs, so the wood moves with the bend instead of against it. Under a broad, level top, shelves of different lengths form open compartments for a basket, a few books or a trailing plant, and the lower frame becomes the visual highlight.
